“Seed”

ABOUT THE PIECE:
One of the accidental finds in pathology is when a patient is undergoing colonoscopy and the doctor removes what looks like a polyp. It turns out this is not a polyp, but in fact is a seed of a fruit or vegetable that was stuck to the wall of the colon. Seed shows the beauty of nature and creation. The meticulous arrangement of the cells like pieces of a puzzle is a statement about how our universe is well-designed. All we need to do is to watch and appreciate the organization.
